Victoria Soto Way

Vicki’s hometown of Stratford, CT has added Victoria Soto Way to North Parade Street, in honor of Vicki. The street runs in front of Stratford High School, where Vicki graduated from in 2003. It’s a beautiful tribute to Vicki and her passion for education and commitment to teaching. Thank you to the Stratford Town Council and all those who signed the online petition to make this happen.

Little Free Library

Vicki’s Aunt Debbie installed a Little Free Library in honor of Vicki, who loved books and reading. The Little Free Library can be found near the benches at Ackley Park in the Lordship section of Stratford, CT. The box is full of books and is meant to inspire readers who are passing by. If you see Vicki’s Little Free library, take a book and remember to bring back another book to share! Enjoy!

No matter what just remember to #livelaughlove #teamvickisoto

Vicki’s Playground

On June 15, 2013 The Sandy Ground: Where Angels Play Foundation began construction on Vicki’s beautiful playground, along with family, friends and many volunteers. The Sandy Ground, which originally formed in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, set out to build 26 playgrounds to honor the victims, with Vicki’s being the fifth one built. Located at Pender’s Field at Longbrook Park in Stratford, Vicki’s playground is a wonderful tribute to all that she loved. It is adorned with flamingos, Christmas trees and is a beautiful and friendly place where children and adults are reminded of Vicki’s words to Live, Laugh and Love.
