Important Race Day Information
Bib and packet pick-up will be held on Wednesday, November 4th and Thursday, November 5th from 5:00-8:00PM at Stanziale’s Restaurant, located at 595 Main Street in Stratford, CT. You will receive an email containing your bib number on Monday, November 2, 2015. Please have your bib number available prior to arriving at packet pick-up.
Need to pick-up someone else’s packet?
You can pick up packets for your family and friends, but please have their bib number and information available. WE URGE PRE-REGISTERED RUNNERS to pick up their packets in advance!
Registration at Packet Pick-up
Limited in-person registration will be available at packet pick-up on Wednesday and Thursday, however t-shirts for in-person registration are not guaranteed! We will NOT have pre-registration pick-up the night before the event on Friday, November 6th.
Sterling House Community Center
The Vicki Soto Memorial Fund, Inc. is giving back to our wonderful community! We are collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items to be donated to the local Sterling House food pantry in Stratford, CT. Items will be collected at the bib and packet pick-up next week on Wednesday, November 4th and Thursday, November 5th. Items will also be collected on race day. Just look for the Sterling House Community Center van that will be parked in the race lot.
5K Raffle Prizes
We have some amazing baskets to raffle off at the 5K this year! Tickets are $1 each or 12 for $10; winners do not need to be present. Tickets will be on sale Thursday, November 5th at packet pick-up and on race day. Please remember to bring your money! There will be lots of other vendors selling merchandise on race day as well.
The Third Annual Vicki Soto 5K will be held rain or shine!
Strollers are allowed on the 5K course. For the safety of all runners though, we ask that those with strollers be mindful of your expected pace and line up accordingly at the start line.
Dogs are not permitted on the course.
Timing will be provided by The Last Mile Racing LLC. There will be no runners/walkers allowed on the course without a bib. Please make sure your bib is pinned securely to your shirt and not covered in anyway. The bib needs to be fully exposed so we can get your accurate time. THERE IS NO SWITCHING OF BIB’S WITH ANYONE!
Awards and prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female winners in all age groups.
Age groups are: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Food Tents! Beer Tent! Birthday Celebration! Please bring your ID! It is very important that we check IDs prior to you being allowed in our beer tent.
Race Day Parking
Parking attendants will guide you to parking, located in the lots next to 550 Main Street and surrounding businesses.
