PACKET PICK UP
Packet pick up will take place on October 29th and October 30th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM in the banquet room of Stanziale’s Restaurant, located at 595 Main Street in Stratford, CT. PLEASE DO NOT CALL STANZIALE’S RESTAURANT FOR EVENT QUESTIONS! You must know your bib number when picking up your packet. If you are picking up for other participants, please have their bib numbers available as well. If you cannot make it to packet pick up on October 29th and October 30th, you can pick everything up on race day, beginning at 7:00AM.

RACE DAY
Come dressed to participate as we will not have a bag check and will not be responsible for valuables or belongings. All bags brought into the main lot will be subject to search. If possible, please use a clear see-through bag (this is for the safety of our guests and participants).

When transiting from your vehicle to the main event lot PLEASE use the sidewalks and crosswalks! There will be police and security to cross you at the crosswalks.

Two Roads Brewery and Sierra Nevada Brewery are supporting the 5k this year. If you would like to participate in the beer tent after the run you MUST be 21 or older and have a valid government/state issued ID on you. ID’s will be checked and wristbands will be issued.

No dogs/pets are allowed on the race route or in the main lot.

Insurance requirements mandate that all participants MUST wear the bib that was issued to you. If you cannot participate on race day and are registered, do not give your bib to someone else.

The Kids Fun Run will take place at 9:00AM. No registration is required for this event. Please have your children in the main lot by 8:50AM. There will be announcements as to where to meet for the fun run within the main lot.

If you have family members or guests attending, but who are not participating in the 5K, we will be asking for a small donation at the registration tent if they would like to participate in the food tents. They will receive a wristband that will allow them access to the food tents.

Thank you for your time and support!

Victoria Soto School Steel Topping-Off Ceremony

Construction on the Victoria Soto School is well underway and today we watched as the last beam was hoisted up and set into place. The town of Stratford held a “Steel Topping-Off Ceremony” which unveiled the design of Vicki’s school and marked a construction milestone, completion of the steel structure. Vicki’s legacy will continue to live on, as everyone who attends her school will learn about Vicki’s heroic actions and unwavering love for teaching.
